Danelectro Oblivious to Timmy Clones

A Steve (Stephen Ridinger?) from Danelectro (aka Evets Corporation) has claimed on 3 separate forums that he is going to investigate this matter. Paul Cochrane has noted that he has had correspondences with Dano since learning about the Timmy clones.

I read about the Cool Cat and Tim controversy last night.

Here is what we are doing about it:

1, I have requested the factory in the Far East who makes these for us to provide us schematics at once. I have today called my good friend who is an excellent engineer and asked him to do an independent review of all the Cool Cat circuits, starting with the transparent overdrive in order to:

a, improve our design in every way possible

and

b, make sure our design is not a clone of anyone else?s

2, If it is true that our design is a clone of the Tim, I have told Paul C that we will change our design as expeditiously as possible to not conflict with his.
